Remembering power skating pioneer, Larry Gazdig

Afternoon Drive

Larry Gazdig was a legend on the ice in London -- not as a hockey player, but as a teacher. Gazdig, who passed away earlier this month, taught some top athletes how to skate through his power skating course for kids. Eric Lindros, Darryl Sittler and Olympic gold medal speed skater Christine Nesbitt are among his former students. We spoke to Doug Kernaghan, a former student who manages the hockey department at Source For Sports in London.
