Saskatoon Morning

It's a case that sparked outrage and protests across the country .... In 2015 -- a truck driver was acquitted in the death of an Indigenous woman in an Edmonton motel room. Cindy Gladue was a mother of three who worked in the sex trade. She died after a night of what the accused -- Bradley Barton -- called consensual rough sex. That not-guilty verdict was appealed ... and today, the case goes before the Supreme Court. Julie Kaye is a research advisor with the Institute for the Advancement of Aboriginal Women. It is one of the intervenors in the case.
