When you open a menu, what are looking for? First: a delicious meal. Second: probably the price. Third: how about the farm where your chicken was raised? Or the name of the people who harvested those mashed potatoes? Farm fresh food is all the rage these days and the trend is starting to appear on Calgary restaurant menus. Our Homestretch Food Trends columnist, Elizabeth Chorney-Booth, has been digging-in to this trend for us. Elizabeth is a Calgary-based food writer and our guide to foodie culture in Calgary.
