Security analyst hacks into body cams

Josh Mitchell is a consultant at security firm, Nuix. He studied five different body cameras from five different companies: Vievu, Patrol Eyes, Fire Cam, Digital Ally and CeeSc. He found that each camera is vulnerable to being hacked. The vulnerabilities include allowing a hacker to: download footage, edit/modify/delete footage remotely, re-upload modified footage to the device, location tracking, and the spreading of malware. Mitchell found security issues with the "ecosystem of mobile apps", desktop software and cloud platforms.
