Discontinuing The Casual Labour employment program in Sudbury after 32 years

Morning North

The Sudbury Action Centre for Youth has had to say goodbye to one of its founding programs. The Casual Labour employment program was established by S.A.C.Y founder Jimi Park more than three decades ago, and since then it has given vulnerable members of the community a chance to get back into the workforce. Executive director Catharine Savarie says it's sad to say goodbye to the program, but it isn't the end just yet. She spoke to the CBC's Robin De Angelis.
