New CBC documentary explores history of Canmore's Ha Ling Peak

The Homestretch

Ha Ling Peak has one of the most scenic views in Canmore and is one of the most challenging to summit. Locals originally called the mountain "Chinaman's Peak." In the mid nineties, a movement grew to change the name, calling it offensive and dated. A new CBC documentary, "Ha Ling Peak," explores this controversy. Writer and producer Jordan Bloeman joined host Doug Dirks in studio.
