Ontario cap and trade program cancelled leaving local businesses in limbo

Some Ontario businesses are in a holding pattern because they're not sure if improvements they were planning will be funded. They were banking on provincial incentives from the Cap and Trade program. When it still existed, small and medium-sized businesses could submit applications requesting this funding. The money would then be used towards energy efficient upgrades and improvements within their operations. Richard Eberhardt is the program director at Re-Think Green, based in Sudbury. He spoke to CBC reporter Angela Gemmill about what the cancellation of this program means for local businesses that had been waiting for approval.
