Celebrating the year of the bird - This week, The Pileated Woodpecker

Morning North

Ever get a thrill when you see a woodpecker? In particular, the pileated woodpecker. They are big with a bright red head. The pileated woodpecker is next on our summer journey learning about a few of the birds that you can find in northern Ontario. It's our way of marking the year of the bird. The CBC's Markus Schwabe went out to a Sudbury trail with Avid birder Stephen Monet on a quest to find this Northern Ontario woodpecker.
