out of control Forest Fires slowly creeping towards communities just south of Sudbury

Morning North

Thick smoke has blanketed parts of northern Ontario for the last couple months. Several forest fires are still burning out of control. One has taken over the lives of people who live or cottage just south Sudbury. Parry Sound 33 (an 8,000-hectare fire) has been burning out of control for 12 days. The CBC's Chris Ensing was right in the thick of it this past weekend. Chris spoke with Markus Schwabe of Morning North about these dangerous fires.
