Cache of historic Calgary items sitting in storage set for second life

Last Summer, CBC News discovered the City of Calgary had a cache of heritage properties tucked away in storage, both in yards and sheds. The list of items included portions of seven historic buildings and structures, from the original sandstone buffalo heads and lions from the Centre Street Bridge to brick and metal crests from a variety of heritage buildings. Now there's a plan to see these historic pieces get put to good use. Josh Traptow is the Executive Director of the Calgary Heritage Authority. He joined host Doug Dirks on the line with more.
