Wake of the Flood: Mud Lake one year later

In the early morning of May 17th, 2017, people in Mud Lake, Labrador, used helicopters to escape the rising waters of the Churchill River. The flood damaged homes, and left people traumatized by its force. One year later, as the river begins to thaw once again, most residents have returned home -- but they're still dealing with the effects of the flood - and worries it could happen again. Labrador Morning reporter John Gaudi got on the helicopter that serves the community every year when the ice starts to break-up, bring us stories from Mud Lake.
