Fighting for safer working conditions in Quebec


As companies across Quebec continue to look to immigrants to fill worker shortages, the workers themselves say they are not adequately protected by the government. Worker's rights groups rallied today at the National Assembly in Quebec City, to demand better conditions and improved safety. Manuel Salamanca is a researcher studying these issues at McGill University, and he joins host Saroja Coelho in studio alongside Mohamed Barry, a worker who was injured on the job in 2013.
