If you've read the Pitch Guide and FAQ and Drafted your Pitch, you're now ready to submit!

Click on the appropriate link below. You'll then be asked to agree to the terms of submission.  

Once that's done, you’ll be asked to fill out the submission form and upload your pitch and resume in either Word or PDF format, along with related audio and video clips.


The Pitch was submitted by you for review and consideration by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation ("CBC"). You understand that the execution of this release is necessary before CBC will review the Pitch, and you represent and agree as follows:

  1. You own or control the Pitch. You have the full and exclusive right to submit the Pitch to CBC and no other person or corporation has any right, title or interest in the Pitch inconsistent with your rights to develop and license the Pitch. If you are submitting the Pitch on behalf of a corporation that owns the Pitch, you have the authority to bind such corporation.
  2. The Pitch is not defamatory and does not infringe upon or violate the privacy rights, copyrights, trademarks, publicity or other intellectual or proprietary rights of any third party.
  3. CBC has not made any promise or representation to you about the Pitch, and has no obligation to use the Pitch in any way. There is no agreement, written or oral, express or implied, between you and CBC concerning the Pitch, other than this release.
  4. CBC will give the Pitch only the consideration that CBC in its sole and absolute discretion determines is appropriate.
  5. CBC does not accept any obligation of confidentiality with respect to the Pitch. CBC has the right to copy, use, and distribute the Pitch for the purpose of its evaluation and review. You have kept a copy of the Pitch. CBC has no obligation to return the Pitch to you and is not responsible for any loss or damage to the Pitch.
  6. CBC may have already and may in the future receive or independently develop materials similar to the Pitch. CBC has the unrestricted right to use these similar materials, and you will have no right or recourse against CBC for use of these similar materials.
  7. Notwithstanding clause 1 above, if the Pitch was made while you were in the employment of CBC and the Pitch was made in the course of your employment, it is submitted in accordance with the terms of your employment, and CBC holds all rights, title and interest, including copyright, in and to the Pitch. You waive all moral rights in and to the Pitch and waive any right to seek, obtain or enforce any injunctive or other equitable relief in connection with the Pitch.


All fields are required.


For larger files or multiple files, you may want to provide links to content on your own web space, or upload them to an online file sharing service such as YouSendIt, Dropbox, MediaFire or WeTransfer. Be sure to include this information in the Comments area. CBC assumes no responsibility for files delivered using these services.

*Note: if audio/video samples of your work are included as hyperlinks within your Pitch Document, there is no need for you to also upload clips
