Printable You & Me Magnetic Weather Station

Apr 24, 2015

This little printable weather station is a great way to get kids tuned into their environment through an awareness of changing temperatures, weather types and seasons. We love the idea of a magnetic version, but simple poster tack will also do the job!

You'll need:

How to make your weather station:

1. Print out the weather station pages—there are two PDF pages. You can choose to print the pages on cardstock or on magnetic paper, whichever is easier for you.

2. Cut out the weather station and all of the tiles. If you have used magnetic paper, you're done! If you've used cardstock, you can affix adhesive magnets or poster tack to the back of the weather station and each of the tiles.
The colourful weather-station print out, surrounded by the smaller weather and season tiles.
3. That's it! Display on your fridge or in a prominent place and talk to your kids every day about temperature, weather and the seasons.
