If You Like Paper Dolls, You’re Going to Love Gingerbread Mandy

Aug 6, 2020

Some may say it's too early for gingerbread people. That it's more of a December thing.

But I ask you this: isn't the joy you get from the smell of freshly baked gingerbread cookies something you should be able to have whenever you want it?

Some will say "no." Some will say, "is nothing sacred?" I say, if you want a cute little gingerbeast cookie (this maple ginger version is very good), have one. But hey, that's just me and I need joy right now.

Speaking of unbridled happiness. I'm only thinking about the deeply satisfying smell of ginger and spices because of the most recent episode of The Story Store! It's called Gingerbread Mandy's New Clothesand it incorporates a couple of my interests: fashion and cookies. Listen to it here!

And you could just listen to it and you'd have an awesome time. But because we want to keep the fun times coming, we've created a paper doll activity that will bring the amazing episode to life. Print it by clicking the picture below.

Check out those snazzy looks! If you and your kids have a gingerbread fashion show (fashion show at lunch), take some pictures and share them with us on Instagram — the same goes for your Story Store listening parties!
