Here’s a Game and a Podcast for Kids Who Like Dogs

Jul 9, 2020

When you go outside these days, you probably see a lot of people walking dogs.

Maybe they are new family pups, or maybe they are just some long-time best buds.

Dogs can run and jump and chase and bark — they are pretty talented. But did you know they can whistle?

They do in this week's episode of The Story Store titled The Whistling Dogs, which you can listen to here. A group of whistling dogs in a dog band are divided on the direction of their music — will they go in the direction of supergroups before them, splitting up and going solo? Or will a mutual love of whistling be enough? Listen to find out!

But why stop at just listening to the episode? We've designed a fun game for kids to play while listening, if they want to do two things at once! Or save it for after listening time.

How many dogs can you spot? Click the image below to print it out, or to view it on your devices!

New to The Story Store? No problem! You can listen to all of season one here! And season two just started, so there's a lot of fun in store for you!
