Cooking With Kids: Vegan Avocado Chocolate Pudding

Callie and I had so much fun in the kitchen together making this delicious chocolate pudding. And did you know it’s vegan, gluten-free and made from avocados? YUP! This video really highlights how fun it is when kids are involved and celebrating within the cooking process. Callie and I got to make a mess, take some risks and showcase the amazing ways we use our limb differences in the kitchen!
- 2 ripe avocados
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa
- ⅓ cup of coconut milk (from a carton, but can would work too)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- pinch of cinnamon
- pinch of salt
Add everything to a food processor (a blender can work well too — just scrape the sides down a lot) and blend until smooth. Taste and add more milk or sweetener if needed.
