Bookaboo for the IGT Legs for Literacy Marathon in Moncton

10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

IGT Legs for Literacy is an event to raise funds for local school literacy programs. It has become the largest running event in New Brunswick. Over 3,000 runners in total registered in four events: full marathon, half marathon, 10k and 5k. Another 200 + school-aged children competed in the kids fun run, which encourages children at the elementary and middle school levels to make healthy physical activity a part of their daily routine.

Bookaboo will be cheering on participants of the Family Run Walk at Downing Street
10 a.m.: Ages 0 - 8 will do a 1k course
10:20 a.m.: Ages 9 - 13 will do a 2k course

Expo/kit pickup/registration - Delta Beausejour, 750 Main St, Moncton, NB
11 a.m. - 5 p.m.: Drop by the CBC/Radio-Canada booth and meet CBC/Radio-Canada personalities and be sure to bring the kids to meet CBC Kids' lovable rock-star dog Bookaboo!
