Michif is spoken by Metis people and is a combination of Cree and French, while also borrowing from other languages including English and Ojibway. This language is spoken by 1,170 people, according to the 2016 census, mainly in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, but also in Alberta, B.C. and Northwest Territories.
