Brit Awards

Two artists, one song on Tuesday's NMT.  Tuesday just happened to be the day that the 2011 Brit Awards were on, and what an exciting show!

Anyway...Tinie Tempah is a rapper, and Ellie Goulding is a singer songwriter, and they're both from London.  Both were nominated for Brit Awards:  Tinie Tempah for four (Male Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist, Single of the Year, and Album of the Year), and Ellie Goulding for two (Female Solo Artist and Breakthrough Act).  Tinie won two of the four:  Breakthrough Act and Single of the Year for "Pass Out" (if you haven't heard it, please find it), but unfortunately, Ellie didn't snag a Brit.

Both are awaiting the North American release of their albums:  Ellie Goulding's album Lights is out on March 8th, and Tinie Tempah's DISC-overy drops on March 22nd.  On HIS album, you can find a song on which he collaborates with Ellie...and here it is:  "Wonderman".

And...Ellie Goulding will be here on Sunday, April 10th at Venue on Granville.
