Barbara Nickel is the author of a new picture book called A Boy Asked the Wind. It's illustrated by Gillian Newland and published by Red Deer Press.

Dr Gordon Rintoul is a professor in the faculty of biological science at SFU and Lasya Vankayala is a high school student who does some research under his guidance.

Bethen Lane and Ruth Janes own the cafe English Tarts in downtown Mission where they serve up delicious baking and savory treats.
