Hiking the Rockies

Graeme Pole has spent a lot of time hiking the Rockies.  He first came to the mountain range as a city kid from Toronto and spent a very wet season in the back country but that did not deter him in the least! In fact he's gone on to write eleven books (so far) about the human and natural history of western Canada.

Recently he updated Classic Hikes in the Canadian Rockies which offers maps, directions, photos, natural and human history and guides to flora and fauna in the region as well as an invaluable section of "nuts and bolts" about preparing for the hike.
