Choose your own Nunavut cabinet

Under Nunavut’s consensus government, voters don’t get a direct say in who will be their premier.

There are no parties, and therefore no party leaders to take on the role. Instead, this Friday, the Fourth Nunavut Legislative Assembly will meet in a leadership forum where they’ll choose from among themselves a Speaker, Premier and eight cabinet ministers.
