Edward Burtynsky is a photographer internationally known for his provocative images of industry around the world. He has chosen The Rooms in St. John's for the Canadian premiere of his show Edward Burtynsky: Oil. The show features 56 large-scale photographs shot from 1997 through 2009 that explore the pervasive role of oil in our lives, and the impact it has - seen and unseen - on our society.
