Calgary flood evacuation areas, road closures

A state of local emergency has been declared for the city of Calgary due to the potential of significant flooding. The level of the Elbow and Bow Rivers rose significantly on June 20.

As such, portions of several communities are facing mandatory evacuations.

The map below approximates evacuation zones. Road closure data from the City of Calgary also appears on the map.

CBC News is updating the map below to reflect evacuation zones. Exact PDF maps from the city are posted on
