A chimpanzee at a zoo in the Netherlands took offence to being filmed and swatted a drone from the sky that was being used to collect footage of apes for a television show.

A GoPro camera attached to the drone captured video of one chimp inside an ape enclosure at the Koninklijke Burgers' Zoo in Arnhem using a stick to knock the drone down.

The chimp spent some time examining the drone as it lay on the ground before walking away. The drone did not survive the ape assault intact.
