Twitter to Taylor Swift: Use your powers to solve all the problems

Fresh off her victory over Apple over royalties paid to musicians on its streaming service, Taylor Swift is being asked to use her influence and (apparently) magical powers to solve other problems with Apple products and the world at large.
Taylor Swift took a bite out of Apple with a Tumblr post this weekend. Could she took on some of Apple's — and the world's — most troubling issues? (VEVO)

Fresh off her victory over Apple on the royalties it pays to musicians on its streaming service, Taylor Swift is being asked to use her influence and (apparently) magical powers to solve other problems with Apple products and the world at large.

Hours after Swift criticized the giant tech company in a blog post on her Tumblr, Apple announced Sunday that it will pay royalties to artists and record labels for music played during a free, three-month trial of its new streaming music service.

Now, the pop superstar is getting requests to petition Apple to make all sorts of other changes.

But perhaps T. Swift's newfound super powers would be wasted on solving minor nuisances with iPhones.

Why not recruit her to address some more pressing issues?

No, no. Bigger.

Better. How about the Obamacare case now before the U.S. Supreme Court?

Any Canadian issues she could take on?

Maybe Swift should seek higher office?

Or maybe not.
