Now you can get Super Mario Run on your iPhone
Full access to Super Mario Run is $13.99 through the App store
Mario fans can now hang out with their favourite Nintendo character while they're away from their game system.
Nintendo announced on Thursday that Super Mario Run is now available for iPhone and iPad.
The game can be downloaded from the App Store at no cost, and players have a chance to try out the game's three modes for free. For unlimited access to the game, there's a one-time payment of $13.99.
"Developed under the direction of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Run brings a new take on the series' beloved action-performing gameplay to iPhone and iPad for the first time," Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America's senior vice-president of sales and marketing, said in a release.
Super Mario Run is compatible with devices running iOS 8.0 or later.
The game launches in 151 countries and regions on Thursday and comes with English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian and traditional Chinese language options.
The main mode, called World Tour, consists of 24 levels. Toad Rally challenges you to race against other players, hoping to earn the cheers of the diminutive Toad characters commonly found in Mario games.
Kingdom Builder allows players to decorate an area of the Mushroom Kingdom with buildings and other in-game items.
