The fourth phase of Senator Mike Duffy's trial has been pushed back a day, and will now resume on Nov. 19. 

Justice Vaillancourt, who is presiding over the judge-only trial, agreed to the adjournment Monday. 

Duffy has pleaded not guilty to 31 charges of fraud, breach of trust and bribery related to expenses he claimed in 2013 as a senator and later repaid with money from the Nigel Wright, former prime minister Stephen Harper's right-hand man at the time.

The trial began April 7 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Ottawa.
