Maps to The Stars actors, Robert Pattinson, Julianne Moore, John Cusack and Sarah Gadon share their worst audition stories with CBC's Eli Glasner.

David Cronenberg's Maps to the Stars hits theatres this Friday featuring performances from seasoned actors like Robert Pattinson, Julianne Moore and John Cusack.

The film, which had its North American premiere at TIFF, is a satirical examination of celebrity culture in Hollywood.

While the movie's leads are no stranger to fame now, there was a time when they were new to Tinseltown—and their inexperience made for some pretty mortifying auditions.

In honour of the film's Oct. 31st release date, CBC's Eli Glasner asked the cast to share their most horrific audition stories.

Watch their answers in the video above.
