A Windsor man has been charged with arson following a fire at a residential building on Wyandotte Street West that caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.

The 44-year-old was arrested Saturday around 4:50 p.m. after police spoke with witnesses, according to a media release. 

There were no injuries, but the suspect faces charges of arson with a disregard for human life and breaching his probation.
