Police say there were no major issues on fireworks night

Thousands of people gathered in Windsor and Detroit to watch the 61st annual Ford Fireworks on the Detroit River. 0:41

Ten thousand explosions crammed into less than half an hour lit up the sky Monday night for the annual Ford Fireworks over the Detroit River.

      According to Sgt. Steve Betteridge with the Windsor police, there were no major issues stemming from downtown crowds or the night's events.
