Water main break closes section of Walker Road

Enwin Utilities has closed a section of Walker Road for repairs to a water main.

The road will partially reopen around 5 p.m.

Enwin Utilities has closed a section of Walker Road for repairs to a water main.

The road is closed between Richmond Street and Niagara Street, close to Walkerville Collegiate Institute and Willistead Park.

Enwin expects the road to be closed until about 5 p.m. and then it will be partially open for the weekend.

The utlity company is asking drivers to avoid the area.
