There's a new way for Windsorites to escape the city and explore the far reaches of Essex County by bike.

Justin Lafontaine has organized a new transportation system called the WEBikeBus.

For $25, cyclists can board a bus that will bring them to Kingsville or Point Pelee in the morning while their bikes are carried in a truck trailing behind.

"The journey, it's kind of a trek to bike all the way from Windsor — I live in Walkerville — to Kingsville or Point Pelee, so I started thinking, 'It would be great if there was a bus that you know could take you there, and then you could spend all your time and your afternoon enjoying you know what the county really does have to offer,'" Lafontaine expliained.

After an afternoon spent seeing the sights they can hop back on the bus to be brought back to the city.

The We Bike Bus is being offered twice on a pilot basis, October 15 and 29.
