Rivard Avenue apartment fire sends 3 to hospital
A fire investigation will continue at an east-end apartment building on Thursday.

A fire investigation will continue at an east-end apartment building on Thursday.
On Wednesday morning, a fire broke out in a fifth-floor unit at 2455 Rivard Ave., near Tecumseh Road East.
Shortly after 8 a.m., firefighters reported that it was out.
At least three people were taken to hospital — one person for smoke inhalation and two people went to hospital for assessment.
Later in the day, the fire department reported that residents from 32 units had been displaced by the fire.
