A cyclist riding to work Thursday night was killed in a collision with a van, Leamington OPP report.

Investigators say the 34-year-old Leamington man was riding a bike with no lights on County road 31 around 10:30 p.m. when he collided with a grey 2004 Pontiac Montana.

Roads were closed for five hours as police investigated.

"It appears he might have been at fault of the crash due to the location of his bicycle," said Sgt. Rick Tonial.

No charges are expected against the Tecumseh woman driving the van, police said.
