Lakeshore motorcyclist dies from injuries sustained in Kingsville collision
Three fatal motorcycle collisions on local roads so far this season
A motorcyclist involved in a two-vehicle collision on April 9 in Kingsville has died from injuries sustained in the crash.
Paul Thompson, 57, of Lakeshore, was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle near the intersection of Essex County Road 27 and North Talbot Road when he was involved in a collision with a Ford passenger vehicle.
Thompson sustained serious injuries that ultimately proved fatal and the driver of the Ford was treated for minor injuries.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
There have now been three fatal motorcycle collisions in Windsor and Essex County this year.
Kevin Gagnier, 54, died from injuries sustained in an April 19 collision on Highway 3 near Walker Road in Oldcastle.
Garrett Fabel, 17, died from injuries sustained in a March 9 collision near the intersection of Cabana Road and Roxborough Avenue.
