Catholic school board support staff on strike

Wages have been frozen since 2012, when the last "freely-negotiated" contract expired, Unifor Local 2458 president Bruce Dickie said.

Shortly after noon Monday, Windsor police tweeted out a message telling parents similar delays can be expected after school is wrapped up this afternoon.
Stephen Fields, district spokesman, said administration at the schools plan on doing the jobs of those on strike to keep the schools clean and safe.
