Scorching temps in Windsor and Chatham prompt weekend warnings
Temperatures are expected to hit more than 30 C until Monday

Things are heating up in Windsor-Essex and Chatham-Kent.
Environment Canada has issued a heat warning in the area for Father's Day weekend.
A warm front is expected to bring hot and humid air into the area beginning Saturday afternoon as temperatures rise into the 30s on Sunday and Monday. Humidex values are likely to reach 40 C with little heat relief in the night.
Symptoms of heat-related illness may include: rapid breathing, dizziness or fainting, vomiting, rapid heartbeat, extreme thirst and decreased urination with unusually dark yellow urine.

The same warning was also issued by the Chatham-Kent Health Unit that suggests anyone who shows these symptoms should move to a shaded or air conditioned area, drink plenty of fluids and rest.
The risks are greater for young children, pregnant women, older adults, people with chronic illnesses and people working or exercising outdoors.
Never leave people or pets inside a parked vehicle, Environment Canada warns.
