4 firefighters taken to hospital after collision with van

Four Windsor firefighters have been taken to hospital after a collision between a fire truck and a van at Cabana Rd. and Dougall Ave. Monday morning. 

Police said the fire truck was responding to a call heading eastbound on Cabana Rd. when a northbound van struck its side.   

No one was significantly injured, but the four firefighters along with the driver of the van were taken to hospital as a precaution. 

The fire truck sustained some damage. 

Officials say everyone was wearing seatbelts. 

Police are investigating.
