Walkerton's public inquest
Justice Dennis O'Connor decided Tuesday to give just about everyone who applied status at the Walkerton Inquiry.
Citizen's groups, environmentalists, and farmers can ask questions to help understand how e-coli got into the water and poisoned the town.
The town's water manager, Stan Koeble, also got standing. But, Justice O'Connor refused status to the NDP because he said he didn't want to make the inquiry political.
The hearing begins October 16.
