Woman's body pulled from water near Bathurst, Queen's Quay

Toronto police say a woman's body has been pulled from Lake Ontario near Bathurst Street and Queen's Quay West.

Two people noticed a body floating face down in the water at about 11:47 a.m., police say.

Police initially said it was a male body that was spotted, but police later confirmed that it was a female.

The marine unit was dispatched to the site at 539 Queen's Quay.

The victim has not yet been identified.
