2 teens stabbed at Etobicoke's Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute

Toronto police say two teens stabbed at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute in Etobicoke have been taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon.

The East Mall closed from Burnhamthorpe Road to Capri Road for investigation

Toronto police say two teens stabbed at Burnhamthorpe Collegiate Institute in Etobicoke have been taken to a trauma centre with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon.

Police confirm the victims are both male, one an 18-year-old and the other a 19-year-old. 

Officers were called to the school just after 1 p.m., which on the The East Mall near Burnhamthorpe Road.

The East Mall remains closed from Burnhamthorpe Road to Capri Road as the investigation contnues. 

Investigators have not released details about any suspects.

The school had been placed under a lockdown as police investigated, which has since been lifted.

A hold and secure has been lifted at West Glen and Broadacres junior schools.
