Waterloo Regional Police say a Toronto man was involved in a pair of jewelry store heists in southwestern Ontario, which both occurred more than a year ago.
A jewelry store at Fairview Park Mall in Kitchener, Ont., was robbed in December 2010.
Three men from Richmond Hill, Ont., were later charged, and police now say that a 25-year-old Toronto man was involved as well.
The accused Toronto man faces six charges, including robbery, pointing a firearm and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offense.
Police say the same Toronto man has also been charged in connection with a robbery that occurred at a Guelph, Ont., jewelry store in January 2011.
