Toronto art gallery robbed

Thieves smashed the window of a Toronto art gallery on Thursday morning and escaped with three paintings.

Toronto police are looking for three missing paintings and some artsy thieves after someone smashed a storefront window and made off with the artwork inside.

Police say an alarm went off at the Odon Wagner Gallery, at 196 Davenport Rd., in the upscale Yorkville area early on Thursday.

The three stolen paintings are Wild Fields by Greg Harris, Still Life With Flowers by Weidong Wang and Seated Lady With Fan by Zhao Kaolin.

The paintings have an estimated value of $73,000.

Police have released security camera images of two suspects which can be viewed on the Toronto police website.
