3-alarm fire at St. Clair Avenue West and Runnymede

Toronto firefighters responded to a three-alarm blaze in a building on St. Clair Avenue West just east of Runnymede Road Friday morning
St. Clair Avenue West was closed from Runnymede to Britannia while crews worked at the scene. TTC vehicles also diverted around the area before regular service resumed just after 11 a.m.
There were reports of heavy smoke in the area and Toronto Fire reported pulling two dogs from the fire. Their condition is not known.
Crews were called to the address at 2417 St. Clair Ave. W. at 6:43 a.m. The building is a three-storey structure with a store at ground level and apartments above.
