TTC subway service resumes on Line 2
Passengers frustrated after electrical fire shut down service at Main Street station for two hours

—@MorboKatRegular subway service has resumed on the Bloor-Danforth line (Line 2) after an electrical fire at Main Street station halted service on a section of the line for two hours during the morning commute.
Just after 6:30 a.m., TTC emergency crews responded to reports of a burning smell at Main Street station. Crews found an electrical fire in a utility room at track level at the station.
As a result, Main Street station was closed and there were no trains running between Donlands and Victoria Park stations. The TTC dispatched shuttle buses to move passengers along the line during the closure.
