Homicide detectives investigating fatal shooting near Dufferin and Eglinton

A man shot in northwest Toronto Friday night has since died of his injuries.
The victim was found without vital signs, suffering from gunshot wounds in a parking lot near Dufferin Street and Eglinton Avenue West around 9:40 p.m. He was later pronounced dead at the scene, police say.
The homicide unit has been called in to investigate the shooting, which sent a crowd of people running and screaming through the lot as they tried to escape the gunfire.
No arrests had been made as of 10:15 p.m.
