Toronto teen Mustafa Ahmed honours his hero Muhammad Ali with poem
'He was the embodiment of strength, so I feel like we all lost of a bit of strength in that moment'
Muhammad Ali wasn't just a boxer. He was also a celebrated musician, singer and poet who continues to inspire young artists like 19-year-old Mustafa Ahmed.

- Reaction to the death of 'The Greatest' Muhammad Ali
The Toronto teen has considered Ali a hero of his since he did a school project on "The Greatest" when he was a little kid. Ahmed was downtown with friends on Friday night when he heard that Ali had died.
"He was the embodiment of strength," Ahmed told Matt Galloway host of Metro Morning on Monday. "So I feel like we all lost of a bit of strength in that moment."
The young poet says he felt "scattered" after hearing the news and decided to gather his thoughts by writing about Ali "because that's the best way we live on."
Ahmed performed the poem that came from that writing on Metro Morning. You can watch his performance by clicking on the video player above.
