11-year-old J.J. Bui won CBC Music's Piano Hero contest
Step aside Billy and Elton — J.J. Bui is the new king of the keys and he's only 11-years-old.
The Toronto boy just won CBC Music's cross-country Piano Hero contest. The competition was searching for Canada's favourite amateur classical pianist and they chose Bui.
As Piano Hero, the 11-year-old won a special Steinway piano, a trip to Montreal to make a professional music video at CBC Studio 12, and several other prizes.
This morning he had a chance to show off his chops on CBC Radio's Metro Morning and he shocked host Matt Galloway with a spectacular performance.
You can check out Bui's skills and Galloway's reaction in the video above.
